Thelma Lou (Hearell) Anderson was born an identical twin on August 6, 1954, in Lovington, NM, to Walter Lee Hearrell and Anna Bell (Gwinn) Hearrell. She passed from this life on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in Sallisaw, OK.
Thelma graduated and married Gerald Anderson on October 20, 1972, in Hobbs, NM. She was a homemaker and pastor’s wife for over 50 years; they pastored in Lubbock, TX (2.5 yrs), Stockton, CA (around 4 yrs), and Eunice, NM (46 yrs).
Thelma was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Thelma is survived by her husband Gerald Anderson; son, Jon Anderson and wife, LaTricia of BayMinette AL; daughters, Becky Clemmer and husband, Ronnie of Eunice, NM, Dorcas Thornell and husband Lee of Sallisaw, OK, Damaris Hayles and husband, Ken of BayMinette, AL; sisters, Anna Lee Futral of Wetumpka, AL, RoseMary Baker of Wetumpka AL, Alma Ryland of BayMinette, AL, and Debbie Stone of Ider, AL; along with 13 grandchildren, Samuel Anderson and wife Sarah, Levi Anderson and wife Hannah, LaRyssa Burnett and husband Kenvor, Danielle Burnett and husband Trayton, A’Leah Cowen and husband Ethan, Kendra Hayles, Jared Clemmer, Rayleigh Hayles, Trey Hayles, Jamison Clemmer, Parker Anderson, Slater Hayles, Brynlee Hayles; Nine great-grandchildren, Brooke, Clay, Claire, & Cash Anderson, Rayla & Daisy Burnett, River, Gabby, & Tatum Burnett, and a host of other family & friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Anna Bell Hearrell; an infant sister, Linda Kay Hearrell; brother, Michael Andrew Hearrell; nephew, Justin Ryland; and her nieces, Elizabeth Stone and Shannan Thomas
A viewing will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:00 P.M. in the Sequoyah Memorial chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. at the Muldrow Holiness Camp Ground, 1901 US 64, Muldrow, OK.
