Velda Carlotta Gaylor, 42, of Sallisaw, passed away on November 30, 2022.
Velda was born in Tulsa, OK, on March 29, 1980. She grew up in Sequoyah County, where she graduated co-salutatorian with honors from Roland high school in 1998. She attended West Ark college and majored in accounting. She delivered her first son Hunter in 2002 and her second son Tyler in 2003. She lived most of her adult life on Brushy Mountain, where she enjoyed reading, music, and being with family.
Velda was preceded in death by her son Tyler Breedlove and her father, Lee Gaylor.
Survivors include her mother, Linda Young; son Hunter Breedlove; brothers and sisters, Jon Gibbins, Josh Young, Kirsti Young, and Dena Gibbins, along with several nieces and nephews.
