Victoria “Vickie” Pinson, 79, of Sallisaw passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother but she is at peace and is now with our heavenly father and singing with the angels.
Vickie was born Sept 2, 1941 to Lester and GeorgiaAnna Montgomery, raised in St. Louis where she attended school, married, worked and eventually retired from Nestlé. She recently moved to Oklahoma to reside with her daughter until her passing. She enjoyed embroidery and watching old black and white movies/tv shows.
Vickie was pre-deceased by her husband Jimmie Pinson, parents Lester Woodrow Montgomery Sr. and GeorgiaAnna Limpert, siblings L.W. “Noonie” Jr., Donna Hunter, Marlene Struckmeyer, Sharon Yon and Ernest “Ernie” Montgomery.
Vickie is survived and will be missed by her children Karla Brock of OK, Michelle (Dale) Lancaster of AR, Vester Brock (Donna Cotton) of IL, and her granddaughter Crystal Brock of AR along with her sisters Georgia Ford of OK, Harriet (Benny) Canoy of TX and Deborah “Debbie” (Don) Swan of MO.
Her final resting place will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO., with her husband. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forever memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw.
