Vikkii Mechelle Guinn, a cherished soul and devoted member of her community, departed this life on June 6, 2025, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Born on October 14, 1968, in Poteau, Oklahoma, Vikkii’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering generosity.
Professionally, Vikkii made her mark as a skilled forklift driver, embodying the resilience and diligence characteristic of her spirit. Yet, her true legacy emanates from her rich personality—an ardent fan of Oklahoma University and a passionate devotee of Elvis Presley, she infused her endeavors with the same fervor she brought to every aspect of her life. Her athleticism shone brilliantly during her school years, where she embraced the thrill of competition on the softball field and basketball court alike.
Vikkii was immensely proud of her heritage as a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and her Christian faith guided her actions, instilling in her a welcoming nature that embraced all who crossed her path, regardless of their backgrounds. Her heart overflowed with love for her family, particularly her grandchildren—Hayden Davis, Zainlan Hogan, Kainlan Hogan, Elyssa Peden, Alexus Gabbart, and Camryn Hogan—who represented her proudest accomplishments. The connections she fostered with her nieces and nephews—Mariah Reeder, Tyler Butler and wife Ky, Devin Weese, and Logan Weese—were a source of delight, as she embraced every moment spent nurturing those precious relationships.
In her pursuit of tranquility, Vikkii found solace in crappie fishing and cherished the time spent in her beloved cabin by the serene waters of Kerr Lake. She thrived in moments of peaceful reflection, often accompanied by her passion for collecting arrowheads and shark teeth during her families memorable trips to Florida.
Vikkii is survived by her father, Larry Guinn and wife Sheila; her daughter, Brittany Hogan and husband Quinlan; her step-siblings, Lisa Weese and Micheal Wiley; her step-father, James Wiley; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. The echoes of her laughter and love will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends, including Sheila Carlin and Debbie Spurgeon, Jerry Don Logan, and Mona Magsby who were fortunate to share in her journey.
Vikkii joins her beloved mother, Judy Wiley; her sister, Lawanna Butler; her grandfather, Wayne Hale; and her grandmother, Irene Hamilton, in eternal rest.
As we remember Vikkii Mechelle Guinn, let us celebrate a life filled with joy, passion, and an unwavering spirit of love that touched the lives of many. Her legacy will undoubtedly endure, shining brightly through the myriad of lives she has influenced.
