She was the mother to 3 children: Charles Gober, Troy Gober Jr., and Lanna Ivey, and her husband Roy Ivey Jr. Virginia had 16 grandchildren: Joshua Gober, Jason Gober, Benjamin Giboney, Jacob Gober, Raven Gober, Willow Gober, Troy Gober III, Andrew Giboney, Joseph Giboney, Breanna Giboney, Rachael Ivey, Roy Ivey III, Dustin Ivey, Ashton Ivey, Brayden Ivey, and Elizbeth Ivey. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ella, her grandmother Hellen Burrows, a son Troy Lee Gober Jr., and three former husbands, Troy Lee Gober Sr., Leonard Sides, and Jesse James Hunt.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Akins Cemetery, Sallisaw. Mr. Heath Wood will officiate. Casket bearers will be Roy Ivey Jr., Andrew Giboney, Joseph Giboney, Benjamin Giboney, David Cooper, and Jessie Setzer.
