William Henry Ross Jr., 85, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 in Vian, OK. He was born to Bill Ross and Eunice (Elberson) Ross on June 5, 1936 in Sallisaw, OK. William served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a laborer and retired from Baldor Electric Manufacturing, working there for 28 years. He loved to sing, play music, and put a smile on people’s faces.
Survivors include his daughters, Jackie Ross of Sallisaw, Romy Vogt of Bunch, OK, Una Ross of Wabeno, Wisconsin; sons, Marty Ross of Bunch, OK, Adrian McGowan of Sallisaw, Jeffrey McGowan of Vian; his brother and sister in law, John and Lahoma Ross of Sallisaw; grandkids, Maranda Orendorff, Joshua Ross, Michael Ross, Tom Vogt, Angel Frank, Bondese Frank, Candace Woody, Marty Blount, Derek Blount, the McGowan grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Eunice Ross; his wife, Edna Ross; and one sister.
