Billy Wayne Taylor, 63, went to be with his Lord on Monday, Oct 1, 2018. Billy was born on Dec 19, 1954 in Sallisaw to George and Pauline (Wilson) Taylor. He had retired from M&M lumber, Tulsa, OK.

He is survived by his wife Joy, of the home; brothers and their wives, Richard and Dorothy Taylor of Sallisaw, Tommy and Brenda Taylor of Sallisaw, Johnny and Lydia Taylor of Owasso, and Jimmy Taylor of Vian; Daughters and their husbands, Tonya and Joe Welch of Sapulpa, Melissa and Joe Mills of Sallisaw; 9 grandchildren, Tangy Ponder, Mattie Ford, Teramae Standerfer, Aidan Welch, Kendra Rowe, Kara Rowe, Trinton Mills, K K Mills, and Baylee Mills; 3 great grandchildren, Jensen Smith, Jaxen Johnston, and Kennady Pettit. Also a host of other relatives and friends. Billy Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Taylor; and a daughter, Kristi Taylor Owens

Visitation for Billy Wayne will be held Friday evening, Oct 5, 2018 from 6-8 pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel in the Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw. Funeral services will be Saturday morning, Oct 6, 2018 at 11:00am in the Apostolic Church, 1000 N Wheeler with Brother Mike McKinney officiating. Casket bearers will be Joe Welch, Donnie Sanders, Brandon Jenkins, Tommy Taylor Jr., Steve Taylor, and Jerry Taylor. Burial will follow in the Buffington, Cemetery, Sallisaw.
