Biography:
Freddy Joe "Jody" Brannon, 75, of Gans passed away early Tuesday morning, Dec 15, 2020, at his home. Jody was born on Jan 18, 1945 in Gans, and had attended Gans public schools. He married Gaye LaDean Coker on March 11, 1980, and with that union they had two children, Jeremy Brannon and Courtney Brannon Williams. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
Jody is survived by his wife, Gaye of the home; his daughter, Courtney Williams and her husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Jackie Williams and Hershel Williams; his sister, Mary Southerland; and a host of other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ruby Brannon, bothers, Jim Brannon and Kenneth Brannon, and his son, Jeremy Brannon.
Jesus gave him his ultimate breath of life. Jody loved Jesus and called out to him every day. Now he is in the precious hands of the Lord.
Graveside services for Jody Brannon will be held on Thursday, Dec 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Blackjack Cemetery with Rick Coanan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw. fmfsinc.com

My father Ned Erwin passed away Jan 2017. Throughout my life dad talked about Jody and their teenage adventures. It always made us laugh. May your family be comforted. | ||
