Lucretia Gay Smith, age 70, passed away at her home in Sallisaw of natural causes, on June 6, 2021. Lucretia was born on Aug 6,1950 in Granite City, IL, to Aaron Malachi and Lola Imogene (Flaherty) Smith. She worked for many years as a waitress and a cosmetologist. Lucretia lived a fulfilling life as a mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved knitting, yard sale shopping, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children Robin Harris, Patty Drain, Steven Fritts, Shlaine Locust, Tommy Lester, their spouses as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a whole host of friends. Lucretia is also survived by her sister, Johnnie Wright and two brothers, Aaron Malachi Smith Jr., and Steven "Smitty" Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Aaron Malachi Smith and Lola Imogene Smith, One son, Robert Charles "Mick" Isaac Jr, one sister Marsha Smith, and a great grandchild Jade Lester.

Her life will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met. The viewing will take place at Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK on Monday, June 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Share your memories of remembrance at her funeral service, to be held on Tuesday, June 8 at 11 a.m. in the Hillside Pentecostal Church of God, 46082 Hwy 64, Gans, OK, with Brother Edward Cunningham officiating. Flowers and remembrances can be sent to Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 OK-101, Sallisaw, OK, anytime on Monday.

Casket bearers will be Abe Locust, Steven Fritts, Tommy Lester, Aaron Harris, John Vinci III, and Tramen Lester. Honorary casket bearers will be Tyson Lindsey, Easton Peterson, Jace Lester, and Bo Locust.
